Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I thought that this was a good course and I liked that the professor chose a subject matter for the course rather than just making it about the broad topic of composition. We focused on self-deception the whole semester, and read two books. He suggests you get four books, but Vital Lies, Simple Truths and The Damnation of Theron Ware are the only ones you really need. No tests, just a lot of writing assignments and reading.

    Course highlights:

This class teaches a lot about self-deception, because that's what he had us read about for our assignments. It was nice to feel like I was in a writing-based psychology class, rather than just a class about writing and sentence structure. The class can be a little boring at times, but the professor is nice and the work is manageable.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read everything as he assigns it, rather than waiting until the last minute to read and write your responses. Buy or rent the books he assigns, you'll need them for all of the homework. I pulled an all-nighter because I procrastinated with the reading, it's possible to get an A doing that, but make things easy on yourself and do the work when it's assigned, he splits it up for a reason.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend the course as Dulin is straight forward in what she wants done. However, she can sometimes be little vague in what she wants done.

    Course highlights:

She gives a clear understanding of what she wants done and creates outlines to go by

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study, stick to the requirements she gives.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend the course. It is an easy A if you do all the work, but you have to put in the effort. It was actually a nice class that I enjoyed. You get to read some really interesting pieces that pertain to society.

    Course highlights:

Professor Dulin was extremely thorough and knowledge when teaching. You always knew exactly what she wanted, which was beneficial. It was really interesting reading some of the articles she assigned.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

It is a lot of work, but it is doable. The research paper may seem terrible and scary, but it is done in parts over a duration of time, so it is fine. You have to put in some effort.
