Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The reason why I would recommend this course, is because it gives you a greater understanding of business operations and entities applied to the real world. Another reason why I would recommend this course is because of the discussion groups where you can learn how to present business ideas and propositions working as a team of group members.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were having highly experienced executives in residence who are currently working in the business environment come to certain lectures to explain how what we learned in class is currently being applied in the real world.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Some advice I would give to students considering this course is to make sure you really pay attention to all the small details when the professor is talking. Also, do not let the time during the lectures pass by because listening to what the professor has to say is where you actually can fully understand the course content as he applies it to the real world.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Overall, this course was very fair. The midterm and exam is based on the information learned in class and in the assigned readings. There are no trick questions; however there are a lot of definition based questions. There is also an online component that is due every week that help you stay on top of all your readings, so be sure to do them. There is also meetings outside of class where you will need to do 2 group presentations. Doing well in those will help you to boost up your mark.

    Course highlights:

In this course you learn the basics of management. It is connected to many other courses in business so it is good to understand the fundamentals of this class in order to connect it to the other courses.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Doing all the assigned readings and going to all the lectures will really help you do well in this class. It is very important to not fall behind in the readings since the exams are based on definitions learned in the book.
