    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The course is mandatory for most science/engineering programs and Mike is a terrific teacher

    Course highlights:

Most of the first half is review, while the second half focuses a lot on integrals, i.e. finding the area under a curve.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the homework! Even if you don't keep on top of it every single week, it is by far the best way to study for midterms and exams. A lot of the questions are taken almost directly out of the text-book. Mike is a terrific teacher, so if you show up to lectures and take decent notes you shouldn't ever have to use the text-book beyond finding practice questions. The main thing with this course is volume, but I highly recommend doing at least a good part of the assigned work even if it seems easy because it will help you tremendously on your exams. Luckily the midterms are very fair, and very short, so if you do all of that you will be welcoming the chance to get out of class early.
