    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Not to discourage you but this course is even harder than bio1130 not that she doesn't teach , she's an excellent teacher and is always there when you need help she also has podcasts in case you miss and she gives marks for attendance so you don't miss classes cause she knows how hard the course is and is trying to help you get great grades however this course is the devil. I'm sorry if this was not a requirement I wouldn't have done it twice :(

    Course highlights:

she gave us sample exams which were the formats of the final exam and her didn't change past questions for midterm one but someone brought her attention to it for midterm two, however, if I had done past questions for midterm one I would have been way happier with my grades. the way she sets her questions are hard, don't leave any information un-understood. the exams include multiple-choice,fill in the blank, short answers long answers and drawing. yes, thats how hard it is and the final exam is 2x worse. any picture she puts on the slide read and understands it. she asks questions that require you explain steps and in order to do that you have to understand the material, cramming won't cut it for this course.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

read before class so you would not be confused as she does cos she ask questions and active participation receives marks and helps for better understanding . if you don't understand something ask if you are half sure ask if you are sure just ask to be certain. read to understand , make notes in your own words. draw diagrams if it helps your understanding and lastly don't wait until exam period to read, read after every class and watch podcasts, seat at the front because those at the people that engage in conversations. make friends with the smartie pants, although they may seem annoying with the excessive questions and I know everything attitude they are your ticket to An A in this course
