Not too easy. Not too difficult.
I would recommend it in lieu of biochemistry if you're trying to go to medical school and they require one of the two. This is definitely the easier of the two.
I took a lot of organic chemistry courses in the past, so it was interesting learning about inorganic chemistry.

Advice for students:
The course is not extremely difficult, but it will require a lot of effort. The exam is taken straight from the material on the slides, so there are no major surprises. When time for the symmetry unit, practice, practice, practice! I cannot stress that enough. The labs are graded rigorously unlike other science labs, so make sure you really know what you're talking about, and if confused, ASK!
