Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor really helped by doing one on ones with the students. So she showed support if you really needed it.

    Course highlights:

It really taught me how to improve my writing skills and how to become better at doing essays.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

This class, like any other class, can be difficult if you make it difficult. As long as you do the readings and attend class you should not find it to difficult.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I believe it is always a great thing to take a course that is meant solely to help you understand and grasp the subject. This english class comes right before the required 110 course. It may seem like a drag to have to take an extra class, but if you see it from a richer perspective this basically gives you an entire semester of focused practice so that when you move onto 110 you won't be a C,B student you will be an A student.

    Course highlights:

I learned tips and tricks on how to express my view in written words. It taught us that writing is a very important form of communication, so understanding that there is more than just words on a piece of paper but there is meaning and effect to it. What you say, How you say it, and What you want someone to grasp versus what your words may have expressed. We learned the proper ways to cite someone else words, as well as more technical aspects of writing.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you feel you will benefit from the focused help, I believe it is smart to take this course.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend taking this course. Martin is a great professor and wants you to succeed. She gives you the necessary information in order to write passing essays. Also, Martin helps students and gives them better grades when they go to her office hours. She benefits hard working students. She likes students to work together and let us do peer reviews on each others work. In addition, she gives extra credit for student who visit the writing center.

    Course highlights:

A highlight for me would be the crucial information she shares on essay structure. She teaches her students how to setup an essay from scratch all the way to an A grade final draft. Also, I learned to be more punctual with my own work. She encourages her students to read their essays over many times in order to find more mistakes.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to write and to show her your effort and dedication to this class. If you do, it's a guarantee A.
