    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Ignacio is a really friendly teacher and will like you if you learn the material well.

    Course highlights:

In high school I had taken pre-calc with trigonometry but always had trouble with optimization. Once I took this course with Ignacio, I became much more familiar with optimization and understood it a lot better.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do your homework everyday and always be prepared for the quizzes

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

For engineers math and science is crucial! There is no way around it. A lot of people are scared of math subjects especially when you have to go into higher calculus mathematics. Having the right teacher there makes a difference and do not be afraid to stop by the Professor's office hours; They are there to help YOU!!

    Course highlights:

problem solving skills was taught to me, also ways of thinking. A lot of people think math there is one right way to solve a problem, when actually there are an infinite amount of ways to solve a problem. THe course helps you realize multiple ways and strategy's to overcome a complex problem.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

have study groups formed as soon as class begins, and go to office hours, not only to get help but to show that you actually care about your grade.
