    This class was tough.

Kuhn is a wonderful professor, his class is very informative.

    Course highlights:

Though chemistry is tough, this class was fun and interesting.

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

If your not comfortable with math, especially algebra, you should refresh your memory and study!

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

He was a very good professor and explained everything very well. He taught me that if I could not solve a problem a certain way to try a different strategy or move on and come back to that problem which really helped me out a lot!

    Course highlights:

Some major highlights of this course were being able to work in a lab and do hands on experiements that demonstrated the material we were learning in class. I am a very visual learner and I like to have things demonstrated right in front of me. Also working in lab groups helped me to better understand problems I could not always understand first hand on my own.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

My advice that I would give to students taking this class would be to always do the practice problems because they greatly help in understanding the course. Practice truly does make perfect!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because not only is it a very basic introductory class which meets requirements for almost any major, but Napoleon is a great teacher and you learn so many little things about the world that you will remember later and can use for a million things.

    Course highlights:

Professor Napoleon is amazing. She is hilarious and obviously loves to teach and loves her subject. I put off Chemistry thinking it would be a miserable subject but this was probably my favorite class at SBCC.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do all of the homework problems, even though they are not graded. It is crucial that you do them to pass the tests.
