    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    I would recommend this course because it is the basic college English course for most freshmen students. English 101 focuses on Academic writing using MLA format. During the course, you will be learning how to create your thesis statements, build up your supporting idea and evident to prove your points of view. After all, you will be able to write up to 10 pages essay using standard format. You also enrich your own vocabulary and strengthen your grammar. To be successful in English 101 will help you write much better in other courses that requires writing assignment.

    Course highlights:

    Going through English 101 you will learn how to write a concrete essay with proper introduction, body paragraphs and conclusion. You will be able to build a good essay structure follow a standard MLA format. You will also learn how to transform nicely between sentences and paragraph so that your essay in general will flow nicely. I have learnt to write essay using multiple sources. I have overcome my weakness in preposition and build up my English vocabulary.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    You will need to read alot. Your writing improve or not depending how much you are reading, even if you read for fun or as a mean of relaxation. You will find out that how easy the other writer can describe an idea. You can ask a lot of questions. Do not hesitate asking questions. Your professors are there to help. You learn a lot by asking questions. You need to complete your assignment and you need to spend time to do it as soon as you can, even a bit by bit. Do not wait till close to deadline and start because it may be too late.

    Course Overview:

    Dr. Matos was the greatest teacher i've ever had. He taught me not only about writing, but how to be more descriptive with things. He has helped me with writing for scholarships and even in my other classes. Take Dr. Matos, you will not regret it.

    Course highlights:

    A strong source of knowledge for writing constructive essays about different topics. How to gain attention of readers, staff and students.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Make sure you talk to the teacher. If you don't talk to the teacher and tell him you need help, you won't do very good. As long as you stay involved with the class and teacher, you will do good.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    I might be recommend because I have art skill that can help me with scholarship. In order to recommend this , I have to work hard for it. I need to continue to improving my art skill.

    Course highlights:

    I want to take this course because i wants to improve my english. I will like to learn more about english, such as grammar and speaking that are use in American. My english speaking is not that great , thats why i'm taking this course.

    Advice for students:

    I need to work hard to be success at something . I need to studies every day, and that will help me improving with my work. Being successful is not a easy thing, all you have to do is believe in yourself.
