    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course was hard. We constantly had to write essays but it was well worth it. Mr. Chapa is an amazing teacher! He is tough and says he doesn't care about his students, but deep down you can tell that he wants you to achieve your highest potential. Like I said we constantly had essays but it was well worth it. At the end of the semester he told myself and my classmates, "Imagine you're going to a UC, CSU, or private school, in some of these English courses at times you are required to write essays and papers that can range from 15-25 pages minimum. Most of the time you are given the whole quarter or semester to complete this final paper. I just showed you that if you write a paper a week it can quickly add up and be accomplished." The class started with about 30 students and by the end of the semester there was no more than 12 students. It was a grade well deserved and I learned a lot from Mr. Chapa. If you are up for the challenge I would highly recommend you take this professor. It will make the rest of your English course a lot easier.

    Course highlights:

I constantly learned new things from Mr. Chapa. He has office hours and is always encouraging that you take advantage of them. He is always willing to help his students and make sure they are getting the information they need. I would say that the highlight of this course was being able to stick it out and receive a passing grade.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

It is a hard course, so if you feel you already have to much on your plate don't take it. However, It is defiantly worth it.
