Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course for any individual who is looking to get a basic understanding of chemistry (entry level). Although this professor was quite tough on students, he offers many opportunities to make up for low homework, lab, and test scores. He is also awesome at teaching and explaining any part of the course that may be a bit more difficult.

    Course highlights:

I personally enjoyed the whole course. I learned many things from conversion factors when changing units in chemical equations, to the basics of pH and how to use acids and bases in experiments.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study as much as possible and pay attention in lectures because of the lengthy amount of material learned vs what material is required on homework and exams. Also, attend every lecture and lab to obtain the most points possible in all aspects of the class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class can be hard to understand but professor Tramontozzi explains everything very well so everyone understands. Also there is lots of easy points to gain by doing the homework. Professor Tramontozzi always brings real life situations into the learning which always helps.

    Course highlights:

We have learned throughout the course what chemical equations are, how to balance chemical equations, what atoms, what an element is and there different charges. We use the periodic table a lot and it goes along with many of the topics we learned.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you do all the homework. Study well for all the tests. You need to know how to use a periodic table and work well with a calculator. There are always tutors in the library willing help. I went to one and I learned everything I needed to know with in an hour.
