    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend this course because the professor takes a very backseat approach to learning. At the beginning of the year, she claims that most of her class will be in class work and outside of the classroom you will need to study notes. However, the class ends up being the opposite. She spends a lot of time on a small portion of notes with only one example, and she then assigns 20-50 homework problems for the following class.

    Course highlights:

Taking this course gives you a really good grasp of basic physics knowledge. Not too much time is spent on any one topic which means you get to experience a wide variety of different physics topics, such as friction and freely falling bodies. I learned the basics of physics including forced and motion.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice to other students would be to make sure you always do the homework. While it may be a lot, many of the questions are required. Also, if she suspects that your class is not completing the homework, she give a surprise pop quiz.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The class is very well done in my opinion. The professor may be very strict on his grading, but it actually helps. With this style of teaching, it allows you to better learn the lessons and information.

    Course highlights:

I learned very well the information within the course and have a lot of the formulas memorized for life. It helped to build my critical thinking skills to a whole new level.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Take it, while you may be pouring hours into the coursework it is well worth it. Having the information and completing the course is a well felt reward.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dont be afraid to visit him during office hrs as he is very helpful.

    Course highlights:

I have never and probably will never have another professor as dedicated as Dr. Zellmer.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

The class is difficult, but he challenges his students to truly learn the information.
