This class was tough.
Course Overview:
He's a nice guy, but the computer-based class is very difficult to keep up with. he rarely teaches anything (and when he does he sometimes gets examples wrong!) no calculators, no formulas on any tests, very discombobulated.
Course highlights:
I learned that I should stop taking courses with heavy online components.

Plan to spend a lot of outside time on this class. Go into the semester knowing you WILL be teaching yourself everything, and plan to budget your time accordingly.

Pretty easy, overall.
Course Overview:
I loved the way this course was run and I felt like I learned a lot in the span of one semester. e course work was manageable and material was very easy to grasp. I am speaking as a student who struggled in mathematics throughout school and passed this course very easily.
Course highlights:
The homework is online with plenty of tools to help you navigate through difficult problem. The book gives any examples and alternate ways to solve equations. I learned the basic principals of Algebra and have retained what I have learned.

Advice for students:
You should always show up for your classes, take detailed notes and listen to what the professor stresses in class. Have a good relationship with the professor and don't be afraid to ask for help. Also make sure you do the homework it really helps with getting good grades on the exams.
