    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The teacher (I cannot remember his name), was amazing. He would dress up each day as a member of the culture he was teaching about. He made each and every person in the class feel involved.

    Course highlights:

I learned more about history than I ever thought I would. People assume history is boring, but I learned it can be very fun.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Have fun while you're in this class! That's what made it great!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course was like learning to do the splits the hard way. It was my first community college course as a scared, young, high-school junior. I fumbled through the class not knowing what I was doing, earning Cs and Bs on the tests and never being able to keep up with the professor's rapidfire lectures. Despite my constant confusion, I learned things. I remember things I learned, even two years later. I ended up earning a surprising A in the class, and received a gold fly of valor (like the ancient Egyptians) for being at the top of my class.

    Course highlights:

I learned about ancient Rome, Egypt, Greece, Mesopotamia, and South America. The professor would come into class dressed like warriors from different ancient civilizations, swords and spears included.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention. The professor writes his lectures on the whiteboard, but doesn't write everything he says. He'll tell specific sections in the book to look at for the quizzes. I wouldn't suggest sleeping. I tried. The results weren't good.
