    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend it as it is a course that challenges the average way of thinking.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course were exploring the reality, existence, and ideas of life and our being and mind through the perspective of the great philosophers in our history.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take a plethora of notes during class and do the readings before class. Do not save the reading for after class because you will be extremely confused during lecture. Sometimes there are even pop quizzes, so make sure to study the notes and reading every single day.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Philosophy is often viewed as an insignificant field of study. When I chose this class, I took it to force me to see it in a new optimistic light. And boy, this class surpassed my expectations. From the start, it was eye opening with a rigorous schedule. Philosophy should have, in my opinion, have been taught to everybody in grade school. It's the study of choices and beliefs, and teaches anybody who cares to learn how to trust themselves.

    Course highlights:

I loved how this course has challenged me mentally, and has helped me decipher many of my own obstacles.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Ask questions. Do not be afraid to poke and prod into greay areas. To be in the action, and not a spectator is key in understanding philosophy.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor was great and really made it an interesting class. She was very helpful with work. The only problem I had was that she didn't grade things as quickly as I would have liked

    Course highlights:

The main course was about the philosophers and their way of thinking. There were also other days that we related back to things that we do with our daily lives.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take notes and pay attention and go to the class and you should be good to go. There wasn't a lot of difficult work to do for this class.
