    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class gave me the foundations of using various computer programs.

    Course highlights:

We learned various Windows programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would strongly advise students to have a Windows computer with the most updated programs so you can practice the activities at home. Only doing the in class activities is not enough for you to completely understand the programs.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course helps familiarize students with Microsoft office applications. If a student needs more refined knowledge and step-by-step help with a Excel, Word, Access, or PowerPoint, then this is the class for you.

    Course highlights:

I enjoy the comfortable atmosphere in the class. The teacher is really easy going and will stop everything if a student needs help. I enjoy the work with Word since I find it easier compared to the other applications I am not familiarized with.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

If you intend to take this course then I would suggest getting a Microsoft computer since the applications on a Mac computer will have limited access compared to the compatible computers Microsoft makes with its software.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a wonderful course for learning the basics of all Window's Suite programs. It was a huge help in my professional life to understand excel a lot more and I would definitely recommend it.

    Course highlights:

I gained a better understanding of how to work each program, from Word to Publisher. I am able to navigate these programs more easily and with a familiarity that I did not have previously, even being in position to have grown up with a lot of these programs.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Devote yourself to the assignments, get them in on time.
