    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course. I bettered my writing skills and thoroughly notated a book that I would have never picked out myself. This class pushed me to learn more.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the essays we wrote. We got to use our own ideas and edited our essays multiple times until they were perfected.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you turn in all your work on time, edit your papers thoroughly, and ask questions when needed you will succeed.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it challenged my knowledge on subjects taken for granted daily.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to better myself and expand on thoughts during essays . This course really helped propel my writing.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Advice I would give to future students is to take side notes while reading the material and always stay current on the reading assignments.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Heather was a great instructor. She does tend to be a little biased in her opinions sometimes, but this never interefered with our relationship/grading, but it is something to be aware of. She was always enthusiastic even when our class wasn't. There is a lot of writing in this class.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about global issues and diversity. This class really opened my eyes to what's really going on around the world.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Not a lot of homework, but you are expected to do some reading (the book we read, Outcasts United, wasn't difficult at all). There are four major papers; these will make or break your grade. Also, participate! She really appreciated students that actually answered her questions in our class. She's always more than happy to help, so I'd also recommend going to her office hours if you ever need help on a paper.
