    | Would not recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Rodrigues is not the best teacher to take this class from because of his frequency of mistakes. You have to be motivated to learn by yourself, because the problems he does on the board usually don't end with the correct answer, and he mumbles more than he speaks. Although, by having to learn the material by myself, it allowed me to focus more on WHY we did certain steps in problems.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot from the online book that he requires, and his lecture notes aren't bad at all. The class taught me how to work with groups of numbers and to manipulate them to find the mean, sum, standard deviation, and standard error. The class also teaches how to correctly set up a survey or conduct an experiment. Random sampling and the sorts. I learned a lot from the class, I just wish that the teacher was more helpful to me, because at times I was confused and when I went to talk with him he just confused me more.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the lecture notes and work through the problems slowly. Even though he gets some of the problems wrong, other times he is able to work through the problems at a speed that the class can follow.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class was very simple but the professor could not be wrong. He would get upset and dock the class points.

    Course highlights:

The homework was all online and the textbook was online.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study and make a cheat sheet early before the test.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Although statistics is a very important math to understand, this professor didn't speak English very well which made a difficult class much more challenging

    Course highlights:

I definitely see numbers in a much different way now, and I know how to determine what facts are true when I read articles that claim certain things about percentages and ratios

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Unless you are willing to actively study and take the time that is needed to understand the material, I wouldn't suggest taking this course. You have to be willing to put in the time and effort if you want to pass.
