    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I completely recommend this class for students interested in the world of 3D Animation and Game Development. Prof. Armstrong has had much experience in the industry and he helps enrich his students by teaching them the basics of Maya then helps encourage alumni to keep up their skill set in there 3D interests. Past students are also allowed to come back and audit the class to continue practicing in a classroom environment.

    Course highlights:

Taking the course was a good refresher for myself because I had already studied 3D Animation and Modeling in High School. For newer students the highlights would probably be being able to touch on many aspects of modeling and texturing, with a slight dip into the basics of animating with Maya. The course helps animators of all levels build their skill set and create a portfolio for those who wish to work in the animation or game development field.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Utilize all your resources. Such as tutorials, pre-made objects, pre-made textures, 3D oriented websites, forms and groups. Everything can help better the out come of your projects.
