Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course helps the student to not only practice and improve their skills at reading, writing, listening, and speaking in Spanish, but it also teaches them about various Hispanic cultures.

    Course highlights:

I was able to practice my Spanish speaking a great deal. My teacher had me do many conversations and presentations in Spanish so I wasn't just learning Spanish words and grammar, but learning and practicing using it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Know what areas you need to improve in. When I began the course, I was relatively good at reading, writing, and speaking but I knew that my listening needed work. I was then able to focus on this throughout the course.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in AP Spanish. Learning another language helps you to be able to communicate and connect with people in other parts of the world and to understand their culture.

    Course highlights:

AP Spanish focuses less on grammar and more on practicing speaking and listening. It really is the more practical of the levels of Spanish. You're not just learning vocab and grammar rules, you're learning how to actually carry out a conversation using these things that you've already learned.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in AP Spanish, you really need to practice. Speaking and listening are very important in this course. It is to speak and listen to a new language and you must really be committed to practicing it.
