Pretty easy, overall.
I would recommend this course for those that just need chemistry as a general education requirement. If you are not going into a field where chemistry is present/needed this would be the class for you. However, if you are going into fields such as the medical field this wouldn't be the greatest course for you. A lot of the information is discussed in class. Quizzes are all online which are also open book/open note. I understood a lot in the class however I feel as if it was an easy A which I wasn't expecting at all.
I really liked the homework days that we did. Those were great for when you had any questions, the professor was right there with you willing to answer any questions. Some homework days were more complicated than others however it was nice to have a professor who was open to questions.

Advice for students:
Attendance is required for this class. When you come in everyday you have to write your name on a piece of paper so he has record that you were in class that day. You do get (I believe) 2 freebies which are for those days when you may have a funeral, car problem, or are sick. Quizzes are all open book/open note on a website known as launch pad. The professor wrote the book so he understands it very well. This course was interesting because it related chemistry to crime scenes and different cases. It added some excitement to the course.
