    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

As an AP course, it is extremely challenging and the course requires significantly more writing per marking period than before; however, the benefits outweigh the challenging aspects of the course. The teacher also has innovative teaching methods that suit the student of the 21st century, using technology to our advantage.

    Course highlights:

Sometimes, we have poetry days where we sit on the floor in a circle and just talk about a given poem, but most of the time, the poems that seem the happiest and brightest have the darkest twists and meanings behind the poem. I learned to think differently and deeply to uncover the meaning under the surface.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not use online study guides, because actually reading the books will help prepare for the actual exam in May.
