    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Although this course was rather difficult, English 101 improved my time management and essay writing skills. My professor had us focus on the analytical side of things, and many of the pieces of work we wrote our essays on proved to make a connection between those stories and real life situations. By taking English 101, I have become a more aware reader in finding details and alternate meanings in pieces of work, which has benefitted my performance in other classes as well.

    Course highlights:

In English 101, I learned how to write overall better essays, as I had improved my writing skills with the words I used, the ways I phrased sentences, and the ways I formulate paragraphs. My professor opened my mind to new ideas and changed my view on life.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

This class is very difficult because of the work load that comes along with it. However, if one were to stay on top of their assignments and put in extra work while writing their essays, they are sure to receive a good grade at the end of the semester.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because Jess seriously cares about your work and truly wants to improve your writing skills. She teaches very effectively and is super open-minded about any topic.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were learning about my writing skills. I have never been super confident about my writing skills, but I definitely learned a lot about my skills in this class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The course can be tough but if you continuously stay on top of the work, it al becomes worth it in the end.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course as it is an easy course and a course that applies subjects that are relevant in society today. It is easy to connect with the subjects in the course which also helps to stay motivated to get things done for the class. The only difficult thing about this class is that the professor isn't very specific about what she wants from the assignments or the due dates of the assignments.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course are that we meditated before class would start to relieve us of our stresses, and the professor was very kind and understanding of her students.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed you need to complete all of the assignments thoroughly and on time. You also need to pay attention to her blog and what she posts about the assignments online. Also check your emails to stay up to date as to what will be going on in class.
