    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is one of the most challenging courses you will ever take. That being said it is also the most informative and influential course simply based on real-world knowledge you will gather.

    Course highlights:

The greatest part about the course is the group work involved. We discussed real-world current events with fellow students from all walks of life with varying opinions. We learned about the origins of political philosophy and where they came from. It provided each and every one of us with a thorough understanding of the differing ideas the human race is made up of.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read up on each chapter and understand them inside and out. The more participation students had in class the better their grades were. The professor is also someone nobody wanted on their bad side. He'll test students on anything said, so pay attention at all times.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Professor Nelson is strict and firm, but extremely fair and informative. She is the person to take a course from.

    Course highlights:

Professor Nelson was extremely helpful whenever you had a question about different political thoughts. We covered all forms of common thought from dictatorship to communism. Wonderful setup to political science.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Show up. Nelson is firm about attendance and if you show up, homework and exams are much easier.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Professor Switky is prominently passionate about his field of study and gives endless, current real-world examples so that we can view the parts of our government in action right before our eyes. As for the tests, if you listen and study a bit, you'll get at least a B.

    Course highlights:

I gained a thorough understanding of the United States political system, and great discussion about the current presidential debate. Professor Switky, at all times, remained completely unbiased.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

To study, just go over the readings and the notes you have taken in class, as well as the study guide he will provide you with.
