    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is a three year long set of classes that they crammed into one semester and generalized. If you work with the instructor(s) then they work with you but if you are too scared or intimidated by authority figures, good luck to you.

    Course highlights:

Honestly, the only thing I remember is how to name Carbon Chains...

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

DO NOT FALL BEHIND and keep in contact with the professor(s)

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is extremely time consuming and demanding. When he says he recommends 15 hours a week outside of lecture and lab, he really means around 20 hours. It is not an easy course, but the labs are interesting and the concepts are very in-depth.

    Course highlights:

In this class, I learned more about my personal ability and study habits than I learned about chemistry.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

I wish I would have known how to study a science heavy course before I got to college. High school was never a challenge, so if you're in the same boat I am, be prepared for a crazy amount of stress and work. This course was very heavy on calculations- I can't stress this enough: DO YOUR HOMEWORK. Go in to office hours also- he may be intimidating, but it's critical to know the basis of what he teaches early because the course is very fast paced.
