Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend introduction to Psychology for a variety of reasons. One reason is that it opens your eyes to the understanding of individuals and why they act a certain way. Personally, it made me more sympathetic as I realized people come from all different places in regards to family and environment. There is always a reason why someone acts a certain way and they can always be traced back to an origin story. Another reason to take this course is that is fulfills a requirement of your general education! The last reason, is that it is a start to a major or minor of Psychology. Psychology is great for working with people and believe it or not, most majors don't end up being therapists! Psychology opens a lot of doors for career paths.

    Course highlights:

I learned of different behavior aspects and names of behaviors that I could not describe before. I learned of social loafing, for example. It explains how one person is more likely to pull their own weight by them self than if they were put in groups. I also learned of Feminism Psychology. It stated that most research done on men are not accurate as they did not take into account that women have a huge impact on men's lives and vice versa.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Ask many question. Padron tends to speak fast and move on quickly UNLESS you ask questions. It is never too late to ask a question. I would recommend doing it in person as emailing takes 1-2 weeks. She always puts the slides at least 2 days before the lecture online. I recommend printing them or writing down the main points before class and really take notes on what she says outside of those during class time. No point in writing down the slides if you already have them.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

She was a very easy teacher. She was clear with her instructions and was able to answer all of your questions. Ms. Cotton was a good professor expect she had a very monotone voice and her classes were very boring. She would just talk for the straight 85 minutes.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about different disorders and conducting out own research was fun.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to read your book and take notes outside of class.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it is a great way of being introduced to the idea of psychology and idea of how human behavior works.

    Course highlights:

I loved learning about mental disorders and how it causes people to act different. It really stresses the importance of the human brain and taking care of it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend doing outside research on this that interest you or concepts you might not have understood.
