    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    Even though it is a tough course, I was able to learn new study habits and ways to manage my time to keep up with work.

    Course highlights:

    To me, I really enjoyed learning about genetics and cellular respiration. Cellular respiration helped me realize how every small thing is linked together for a purpose. For genetics, I was really interested and fascinated by the different variations of life through meiosis and mitosis.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    Study a lot and please have a planner to annotate the homework and turn it in on time. Also, the biology book gets expensive so be prepared for that. Quizzes are every week.

    This course was in Introductory to biology course and I would recommend this course because it truly helps you understand the basics of biology. This course will help you with the higher biology courses that

    The highlights of this course is the examples that the professor that is able to provide during the lectures given.

    Advice for students:

    Students that are planning to take this course should put in the time to read the textbook that is required to have and make sure to spend time studying. If possible, create study groups because it will definitely help when it comes to the quizzes, tests, and the final exam. Make sure to ask questions when a student is confused about a concept or a term.

    Dr. Sam Fox really genuinely cared about his students understanding of the subject. He made sure the course not only made sense, but also that it was enjoyable for his students.

    Course highlights:

    I learned a lot about mitosis, using lab equipment properly, and how to apply my book work to the real world in a lab.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Make sure that you know what you are going to be working with in your lab before you get to class, and study on that subject.
