Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it gives you the basics of accounting and shows how important financial statements are. It focuses on on the balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flow while using the accounting equation to help better understand the topic. It is a great beginners course to cover some very important topics in accounting as well as teach the financial side of accounting.

    Course highlights:

Some of the highlights of this course was government regulations, internal controls, ethical issues, and the financial statements. There was an emphasis on the accounting equation, the balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flow.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Use the accounting equation when do any financial statement homework or journal entries. Show up to every class and do not be afraid to ask the professor questions.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is a very helpful course even if you aren't an accounting major. It'd be very good for a marketing major, or business major, or even if you want to understand basic finances.

    Course highlights:

I can't even begin to tell you what I've learned. Balance sheets, assets, liabilities, stocks, what goes where. Anything you could ever think of as far as accounting and the basics are learned in this class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you want to really understand the material and get through the course, you need to do the reading. You need to do the homework problems that Professor Belik assigns or else it'll be extremely hard to catch up.
