    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Statistics was very helpful for many math or science based majors. This course goes in depth at finding patterns in data on human based information.

    Course highlights:

Highlights included finding averages and patterns in data. Labs were real life examples that highlighted the importance of Statistics in many fields.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to study and study hard. There is a lot of material to cover in a very short amount of time. Pearson success net, where you submit homework is also very picky about rounding and significant figures when submitting your answers.

    Pretty easy, overall.

It was a basic class too easy for me

    Course highlights:

It was a general overview of statistics. I didn't learn much I did;t already know.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read directions thoroughly, highlight key words.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would absolutely recommend this course to fellow students. Dr. Moore is not only knowledgeable, but she is caring. She cares about the quality of her teaching and she shows genuine concern for her students' progress. Dr. Moore manages to integrate real world examples into lectures and makes for a great classroom experience. Whether you take Statistics for interest or as a required class, you will learn a lot. Specifically, you will learn strategies that will allow you to read a scientific study and be able to examine the data to identify if the study was done legitimately or if it was flawed. Going into any of the science and/or medical fields, you will find this class extremely valuable.

    Course highlights:

I learned strategies that will let me read and critique scientific studies like a statistician would do.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the homework. Attend every class. Be awake for class and be ready to absorb the material.
