    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The professor is incredibly rude and doesn't really care for others opinions. He constantly interrupts people and makes you feel dumb, and that you are wasting your money if you don't do exactly what he thinks that you should do. The essays are graded incredibly hard, yet your final grade doesn't really reflect that? The grading system doesn't make sense.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to create a header as he drills it into your head each day in class. I did learn to be a more effective writer, it just wasn't taught to me in a very effective way.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Probably don't take this class with this teacher unless you are forced to, which in that class pay as much attention as possible and don't be caught slacking off.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Besides ENG 100 (College Writing) being a required course for those who did not take or receive credit in an AP English class, I found this to be a really helpful class to help with the transition from high school to college writing and a basis of what is expected by many professors.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about the structure of writing essays that would not only be acceptable but successful in a college environment. The focus of the class being on the rights of Americans, many of the topics were broad enough that you could choose something that suited you as well as learning more about current events in the country.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to stick to your syllabus and keep on track with papers and assignments. Like any other class, it's important to give yourself time to complete the work and read the material given. Books and readings are assigned to help your success in the class!
