    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Microbiology isn't an easy class, but Professor Tolli is always willing to help, if he sees that your trying.

    Course highlights:

Playing detective, and trying to guess what bacteria was growing in the agar.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to read from the book and the power points. Do all the study guides.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course with this specific professor. Go to class and you will get everything you need for the exams. The professor is also very open to answering questions and is probably one of my faves!

    Course highlights:

Throughout my educational career, I think I learned the most from this class. Not a day goes by where I don't relate it with something I learned from this course. Might sound crazy, but it's true. I am a bit more germ-aphobic too.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class, ask questions if you have any, and read over your notes and PowerPoint slides. You'll be set. I read the necessary chapters and found that to be very helpful, but all the answers to the questions on the exams could have been found on her slides.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course to those that are serious about expanding their knowledge and seeking to challenge themselves. This course is very challenging and it was difficult at times but the labs were very well thought out and you could learn a lot from what you went through.

    Course highlights:

The highlights would have to be the labs! I loved going to labs because we got to look at bacteria under the microscope and see what we saw in pictures on our textbook. It definitely made the course and what we were learning that much more meaningful.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely don't miss any class time. Always come prepared. That includes coming with your materials, ready to take tons of notes (he uses test questions from presentations), and come well rested. One mistake I took, was taking the material lightly. I thought this class was going to be easy but it wasn't. You have to come mentally prepared. Knowing you'll be challenged a lot.
