Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course has definitely improved my writing and critical thinking skills. The professor develops the course work and learning units around a central theme. The class was well organized and structured. The professor was also friendly, understanding and offered several opportunities for extra credit.

    Course highlights:

One of the highlights of this course were the 4 different debates that we had to participate in. This activity helped to strengthen our skills in rhetorical strategies. What was most challenging, was arguing for or against something that one would normally oppose or support. In these debates we were assigned a position either for or against a subject. So by arguing for something that one would normally oppose, one will learn how to be more analytical and critical before forming an opinion.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I advise students who take this course to be mindful of the syllabus' requirements. Also, always communicate with the professor if something unexpected comes up. The professor is very understanding but appreciates when students take the time and effort to communicate with her regarding any hardships that arise. I also recommend for students not to procrastinate because this course entails writing over 6 papers and the due dates thereof come around fast.
