Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Class is very interesting and informative, you get to learn about other cultures and their values just by their stories of their gods, goddesses, tricksters and ect.

    Course highlights:

Helps you learn how to analyze readings easier and no big tests a few small quizzes after each section and you can opt opt of a test final and do a creative project instead!

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the stories before coming to class so when she gives the lecture you a already have background knowledge of the story and its characters.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Not only is it an interesting topic, but it also another look at history and a way for students to understand the sorts of belief systems that our ancestors held. The professor for this course is also amazing and incredibly knowledgeable about the topic and makes the material fun and engaging despite the topic's potential of becoming bland or boring.

    Course highlights:

For me, the highlights of this class were learning about the mother goddess archetypes as well as hero myths. Learning about the stages of the Hero's Journey and relating it to our own lives and experiences is an inspiring way of validating the hardships that young adults face in college.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are taking this course I would recommend you to not only rely on the required reading material to learn the myths that will be discussed. I personally was able to get a deeper understanding of the stories by researching more about them which doesn't take more than a few google searches.
