    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it prepares you to enhance a state of presence necessary for a counselor. Learning and practicing to be in the present moment with no personal agendas can be a powerful tool for the therapeutic alliance formed between therapist and client. This course teaches you that there are different paradigms of consciousness and states of consciousness. This course is incredible because it promotes self-awareness. One becomes more conscious of our thoughts and actions.

    Course highlights:

I learned that the more present I become, the better I can serve my future clients. If I am not present, I can be acting unconsciously without having any awareness of my behavior. The more aware I become, the more I know about myself and the more attunement I can have with my clients.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

    Give yourself one hundred percent!
