    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class makes chemistry actually fun, if that is even possible. You will feel confident, informed, and engaged. You will actually enjoy writing reactions and seeing them come to life in experience. This class made me passionate about chemistry.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the hands-on experiments and activities, as well as the opportunity to work mainly in groups. Also, the challenging nature of the course develops a new sense of responsibility and organization in students.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are considering this course, be prepared to take your organization and study skills to a new level. You will not get by without actually putting work in, attending review sessions, and having enough time each night to complete the homework and study.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course! Memorization of chemical compounds did prove to be difficult, but once you get the hang of it, it is truly fascinating.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the labs. I was able to learn from hands on work and really witness the physical properties of the chemicals that we were learning about.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

It is very important that anyone taking this course studies the material on a regular basis. If you don't, then you will quickly forget everything that you have worked so hard to learn.
