Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this class because you learn about your body and how it works. It is fun to learn about your body, disect things, and look at microscopic organisms.

    Course highlights:

A highlight of this course was disecting a worm. You learned how small and thin a worm was. You had to be very careful not to cut their insides when you cut through the skin. I learned that worms don't have a heart like ours, but their heart is five veins.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Complete your work on time because it'll be hard to catch up when you fall behind.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I'm a major science buff so learning advanced biology was really interesting to me.

    Course highlights:

My favorite section of the course was when my class learned about how organism convert nutrients into energy. I'll always remember that ATP Synthase looks like a mini-mill inside a human body.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You'll have to study very hard and keep up with the reading and projects, tests aren't a major factor by homework can be challenging.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

AP Biology covers a broad range of topics in depth. Taking this class in high school provides higher level experience, even if you don't pass the AP exam.

    Course highlights:

I gained deep knowledge about how life is organized. From a basic cell to an entire biosphere, everything ties together. I learned how to think outside of the box in this course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take good notes and study them, even old notes, because everything in biology ties together. Sometimes you can't afford to forget information in past chapters.
