Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

As someone who wants to major in Ecosystem Science, I really loved the course material! Amy Frary is a really passionate teacher, but her tests are very challenging and demanding, so if you aren't planning to major in a science or are not interested in the material, you probably won't enjoy this class.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about plants and how they relate to the world we live in. It was really fascinating to see plant structures and learn how they functioned at the molecular level because it's not something you often get to learn much about in high school. As someone very interested in the natural sciences, I enjoyed the material immensely, but I would not recommend this to someone trying to get their requirements out of the way. We almost never had homework, and our lab reports were graded leniently. If you had a question, Amy was always available to email questions to or she would be happy to answer them in class before the report was due.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to every class and write down everything she writes on the board. Study weeks in advance for her tests. If you have a question about the lab reports, email her or ask questions in class.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The professor is not good, but you can learn how to bounce back from defeat if you take her class.

    Course highlights:

I gained responsibility and the strength to keep going.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay focused and go to her as much as you need to get help.
