    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

We read three news every day for the course. It raises my awareness of global affair. Vinnie is great!

    Course highlights:

Reading world news from different perspectives is definitely a high light. As the course discusses Middle East, Russian-American relationship a lot, it gives me new perspectives about international relationship.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Work in group. I suggest taking note when reading the news. Even though lecture is not related to the quizzes, they are very interesting.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I know that years from now, this class will have been a huge influence on me. Lectures are always engaging with an incredibly articulate and intelligent professor who has so much passion for his field, yet I never felt in over my head. There were daily readings revolving around current events, and in class discussions were about connecting theory of politics with whatever was happening in the world. Classes were never just about politics, though, as there was always time for my professor to give life lessons, pep talks and always brighten my day. I didn't think I'd have much interest in this class, but Vinnie made it so worthwhile.

    Course highlights:

I learned that history has a way of repeating itself in world affairs. Again and again.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make yourself known to the professor as this is a huge 100 level lecture. He's such a warm, friendly, positive force, so you won't regret it. Also, read articles in depth. You won't remember anything if you skim them and you don't want to bomb quizzes that account for the entire grade.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course! It looks at the important world regions with their distinct and unique contributions to the geopolitical and economic wel-being of our planet while also disabling misconceptions about these places.

    Course highlights:

I learnt a lot about our world regions, continents and the economic and cultural practices that make these places unique.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely take it, it's an interesting class but there is a final paper that you'll do well prepare for early!
