    | Would highly recommend.

    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    I personally am more interested in microbes since my major is microbiology, but this course was really interesting to me. Ledford is an outstanding and very understandable professor. He is probably the nicest professor at office hours and he will help you if you need better understanding of a subject.

    Course highlights:

    MICROBES. I learned how to read phylogenetic trees and it made me understand what certain groups of organisms have in common with other groups. It makes you appreciate living organisms.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    Make sure you keep up with the content in lecture. Drawing your own phylogenetic trees and life cycles really help with memorizing the content.
