We also have minimal mental health services. It is difficult to get an appointment, our psychologists are flooded with work, we have a two tiny rooms for two people for every 30 minutes to receive mental relaxation.
I and one fantastic student started a mental health workshop for staff and faculty and got it running within two quarters easily with the help of staff. You can change so much here and make our university better, especially if you know the right people to talk to.

We have a few study abroad programs, but they're all usually short (quarter system is 10 weeks). Underneath all of my satire and sarcasm, these are problems you will likely find at many large universities. But at Davis the best part is the potential to change so much.
