Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course encourages students to independently research and gather information, a very useful skill to develop, along with dive into a certain health issue that concerns them personally.

    Course highlights:

I am now more capable of finding trusted and reviewed information and then applying that to a question I have. I loved the in depth discussions that allowed every student to add their own experiences with health issues whether it was diabetes, cancers, obesity, or any other familiar health issue.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise a student taking this class to allow themselves to relish the uniqueness of the freedom for what they are learning and to find a topic for their mini term paper that they are truly interested. As for everything, don't wait last minute to start researching, but if you've picked a good topic, then that won't be an issue. More than anything, participate in class because others want to discuss with you and learn about your own experiences.
