This class was tough.
Dr. Ryan is an excellent professor. She explains concepts thoroughly and does not rush course material. The class covers the systems of the human body, and the professors who teach each section are researchers in that field, and thus provide the most current knowledge on the subject.
We studied the Respiratory, Nervous, Reproductive, Circulatory, Digestive, Urinary, Muscular, Skeletal, and Endocrine systems. My favorite topic was the endocrine system, as we covered the primary role of hormones one many of the body's functions and systems.

Advice for students:
Take thorough notes in class, and review them for the exams. The book is helpful to clarify confusing concepts, but ultimately, the exams are pulled directly from the lectures. Do not fall behind, because this is a fast pace class which covers a lot of material. Finally, go to the professors' office hours - they are valuable in clarifying concepts and in reviewing for exams.
