    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Both professors Schmidt and schreiber were an absolute joy to learn from. They are very energetic and engaging and more than happy to answer any questions students may have.

    Course highlights:

I gained a deeper understanding and appreciation of evolution and ecology.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study the slides, they test more off those then the book.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

BIS 2B was an absolutely fantastic course! The concepts of ecology were super interesting and the lab exercises were really hands on and comprehensive. Lectures were also very captivating because real life examples were used!

    Course highlights:

The activities in lab were really fun because we got to explore and observe various aquatic organisms! I learned about the habitats and life styles of these organisms.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend going to every lecture and taking good notes! Also paying attention in the labs and actively participating in the exercises will help you a lot for the lab practical at the end!

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The information taught in this class is easy to understand but the exam questions are tricky. I enjoyed learning but did not enjoy the exams.

    Course highlights:

I learned that you have to think outside the box and be able to relate materials to other topics as well.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to lecture every day, take thorough notes, and do the study questions!
