    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Although, it is a core requirement it is best taken right after taking Organic Chemistry or after a substantial amount of review.

    Course highlights:

This course offers a way to work backgrounds from a given product to eventually figure out a way to synthesize the compound using known reactions learned from Organic Chemistry and using affordable and mass produced starting chemicals.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely get ahead in this class. The required textbook is very useful but having other books on organic synthesis and organic chemistry would help greatly. Go to office hours because they would explain in more detail why certain reactions and/or chemicals won't work.
