    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is probably a major requirement, but the course itself is really interesting. If you have an interest in computer science or just coding in general, this course could give you an insight to it. The teacher is not that great, but the T.A.'s are pretty helpful and easy to approach. The course is not an easy one, especially if you have no coding experience, but with hard work and perseverance you can get the material.

    Course highlights:

It is always a great feeling when you get your program to work, that is the best feeling. I did learn a lot of things like making audio clips faster, slower, play backwards, etcetera. You will also have a good understanding of manipulating arrays/matrices. They are a lot more things, but I wouldn't want to ruin the surprise.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to all the T.A.'s office hours because I always had questions on the homework whether it was on how it was worded or not understanding why my program wasn't working, the T.A.'s are really helpful. Make friends in this class, they will be your biggest support system. They can help you with what you do not understand, you can collaborate together for the homework assignments or just have someone to look at and shake your head when your program doesn't work, but you have tried everything. It is also okay to use functions that you haven't learned yet. They are usually the ones you need but aren't told about until later or never.
