    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is a very interesting course where you will learn a lot of things that will eventually be built off of in later classes. It is definitely not easy, and it has a large workload with a lot of reading, but you'll finish it with a lot of new knowledge. Learn how to take effective notes from a reading or you won't be able to stay on top of everything you're learning.

    Course highlights:

It is mainly cellular biology, which is really the basis for every other biology class, even things as broad as ecology. It is very interesting and useful information, even that parts that get complicated and frustrating.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Work hard and do all the reading. There are a lot of homework points in the course, but you'll still need to be very prepared for the tests to succeed. A study group will save your life.
