The questions on the midterm are literally copied and pasted from his reader problems. If you practice the reader problems multiple time you will succeed in his class. Also read the reader before every lecture, or else you wont know what he is talking about. 10 pages before every lecture for a total of 30 pages a week= 1 chapter a week. Do the reader problems for the current chapter every Saturday after you've done all the reading for that chapter, then before the midterm do all the reader problems again.
