    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

A wonderfully fun class with a very passionate teacher who really loves plants and sharing his knowledge about them. He's not a hard grader, he just wants his students to have fun and learn without the pressure of exams.

    Course highlights:

There are tons of strange plants that I've had to identify in the class, and it's really cool because you get to show off to your friends after class with lots of weird facts about common trees and plants.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make flashcards. Do it. The class is really easy, but there are too many plants/trees to remember and you won't learn them all in one go.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Truman is a great professor ! he knows what he is talking about and is really passionate about environmental horticulture. He's also got a great personality ! His tests are hard but not anything unexpected, he doesn't try to trick you.

    Course highlights:

The labs were the best part! getting to spend the day outside walking around campus learning about plants was lovely. I learned the names of many plants and their habits.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Come up with tricks to remember the names of plants, it helps a lot
