Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is engaging as well as taught by an amazing professor who works to make sure the class as fun and real as possible. It's a place on campus where you can start to examine your education from high school and really fill in the blanks- because African-American history is inherently American history.

    Course highlights:

Some highlights for me were taking a look at caricatures that were shaped in the media about black Americans and how they've proved detrimental back then and now to how African-Americans are seen. We also were able to learn about housing discrimination which aided to understanding the wealth gap between white and black Americans.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't assume you can just sleep and blow off the work because it's not too much, just put in the work and your grade will definitely resemble that. It's an interesting course that anyone can do well in- great for GE's. DO THE EXTRA CREDIT!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Did not really like his teaching style, it was a lot of self-study.

    Course highlights:

Simply reads off the reader and provides only a few examples.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Spends time talking about life instead of helping students with chemistry.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The subject was highly intriguing but the teacher made the class unpleasant.

    Course highlights:

Some highlights included learning about African Americans position during the civil war and the civil rights movement.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

She gave us weekly assignments to write 500 words on about two chapters. I would recommend you complete this assignment early instead of waiting until the last day to do it.
