    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class is casual enough to not be overwhelmed by work, but enough to give yourself a little challenge. There's no midterm or final in this class - technically. In this class, you work on a piece of fiction throughout the entire quarter, which you turn it on the last day of class as your "final."

    Course highlights:

I learned different ways to write and because the class was given your story to read, you were able to hear feedback from various types of people in order to improve your story for the better.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the reading and just keep in mind that there is no right or wrong answer in this class. The class is to share your opinions and to give feedback, not analyze.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Not very helpful with writing skills. Requires a lot of unnecessary reading and a lot of printing.

    Course highlights:

How to write an amateur short story.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you don't like writing, drop the damn course.
